Robert Philip DePalo Chairman
Robert DePalo (registered as an approved person with FSA, registered with FINRA and participant of MSRB) has over 26 years of experience in the financial markets with extensive experience of nurturing early stage companies through various stages of financing. As an expert in capital formation and emerging growth strategies, he has lead or participated in dozens of private placements and IPOs within various industries including technology, healthcare and financial services, Rob is based in New York.
David Couch CEO
With 20 years in the financial services industry David has held senior positions for the last 13 years including Chief Operating Officer at Killik & Co and Managing Director at Rowan Dartington. David has expertise in private client and retail investment services. David is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, a Member of the Institute of Directors and a Chartered Accountant.
James Hutson Head of Investment Management
James commenced his career in the City as an Equity Research Analyst with the French Investment Bank Societe Generale, and subsequently with US Investment bank Keefe, Bruyette and Woods. After more than 10 years analysing the financial sector, James joined Investment Manager and Stockbroker Rowan Dartington as its CIO, and later joint Managing Director. James holds an MBA (Finance) from the City University Business School and has been ranked by Extel, Institutional Investor and Starmine. He joined Arjent in December 2010.
Kevin Spear Head of Business Development
Kevin brings to Arjent 25 years' experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry, both from a Sales Management and Financial Adviser perspective. He has worked for many high profile organisations including Natwest Bank Corporate Banking, Zurich and J. Rothschild Assurance. More recently, Kevin has specific experience of recruiting Private Client Discretionary and Advisory Investment Managers for some of the most well known brands in the Private Client Discretionary sector.
Chris Deacon Chief Operating Officer
Chris has over 10 years experience in the financial services industry in both private client and retail investment services. Starting as a broker at Killik & Co, Chris moved into a client services role before undertaking a secondment to set up a joint venture with Raymond James. He brings to Arjent experience as an independent consultant where he provided investment solutions for start up investment companies.
