Arjent's Alternative Investments department is dedicated to providing clients with opportunities to diversify their existing market holdings

We seek to provide clients with returns independent of the broad markets with a focus on the client's investment objectives, be them capital preservation, stable returns, aggressive growth or speculation

Our solutions are designed to diversify client assets across asset classes, strategies, managers and currencies. We seek to provide clients with returns independent of the broad markets with a focus on the client's investment objectives, be them capital preservation, stable returns, aggressive growth or speculation.

We have established relationships with some of the world's leading alternative investment managers, only dealing with firms who can demonstrate:

  • a solid track record;
  • performance independent of the broad markets;
  • a robust investment process;
  • the ability to attract a high calibre of investment professionals;
  • sound corporate governance with independent checks in place.

Before any capital is allocated, extensive due diligence is performed on any investment. This often includes manager visits, regardless of their location globally. Furthermore often a 'thematic' is published with the goal of documenting our investment concept and how it fits within current market conditions. Conference calls are often organised for the benefit of clients so that they may dial in to engage in Q&A directly with prospective providers and managers. Clients can further benefit from our institutional portfolio modelling software which we use to assist in the portfolio construction process.

Through our Alternative Investments platform, clients are able to access institutional investment managers who are not usually available to private investors.
